Gate 7 Volume 4 (Dark Horse, 9781595829610)
Jenny: I'm glad to see another Gate 7 is coming out.The visuals so far are predictably CLAMP-y swell, but I want to see if they go a little further in building their characters and developing a plot that's not so exposition-heavy.
Goddamn This War! (Fantagraphics, 9781606995822)
Jenny: Jacques Tardi melds the silly and the tragic in bitterly funny, powerful, and heartbreaking ways and I want to find out if Goddamn This War! is anything like his harrowing, eye-opening It Was the War of the Trenches, inspired by his traumatized grandfather's experiences in WWI.

Snow: I'm excited about Princeless 2, Gunnerkrigg Court 4, and Dance Class 5. Always nice to see new volumes in favorite series!
Abby: I second Snow on Princeless and Gunnerkrigg Court.Both are so much fun and feature strong female characters, which usually ensures I'll like something.I'd say Dance Class 5 too, but I haven't read it yet.
Lovely Complex - the Complete Series (Eastern Star)
Jenny: Yay, Lovely Complex!I adore Aya Nakahara's romantic comedy manga and am excited to finally be able to watch the anime adaptation.Her characters are sweet and funny and human, and their story makes me grin from ear-to-ear.
Special A - Complete Collection (Sentai)
Abby: I'm excited about Special A.I've never seen the anime, but Special A was one of my first mangas and is, therefore, very close to my heart.I can't wait to check out the anime!
